Get in on our Fall Harvest Veggie Bundle Fundraiser!

We only get to run this fundraiser once a year during harvest season, and it’s not one to miss! We partnered with Erdmann’s Garden & Greenhouses, who will be providing farm-fresh veggies for our Fall Harvest Bundle Fundraisers! This is perfect for schools and groups fundraising during the last two weeks of September, with the Harvest Bundles being delivered in the first half of October (dependent on harvest time). Note: this fundraiser is only available to those located in the Edmonton, Red Deer, or Calgary areas in Alberta.

The best part of the Harvest Bundle Fundraisers is our Giving Back Food Bank Option. This gives the opportunity for schools and groups to give back and provide fresh produce to their local food banks. As part of our Giving Back Food Bank Option, last year’s participating schools donated more than 7000 lbs. of veggies to various food banks! It’s great to see the impact our Harvest Bundle Fundraiser had on communities across Alberta!

Alberta Open Farm Days is a province-wide open house on August 19 & 20, 2023, designed to bring Albertans together through educational and agricultural-based initiatives. Events span from interactive and educational farm tours to delicious farm-to-table culinary events, so you’re bound to find something for everyone in your family.

2023 will celebrate the Year of the Bison, which “has been a historically important part, not just of the eco-system in Alberta, but also a keystone ingredient for people that have lived on this land.” According to the 2021 Census of Agriculture, 472 Alberta farms account for a whopping 44% of the national total of bison, coming in at 65,405 heads of Bison in this province alone.
