2023: A Year in Review
We’ve had an amazing 2023 and wanted to share a few of our favourite moments, updates, and fundraisers with you!
Our team at Indeygo has been busy all year helping groups fundraise for their sports team, school group, local food banks, animal rescues and so much more! We’ve helped groups from coast to coast – seriously, we shipped goodies from Newfoundland to British Columbia, and as far North as Yellowknife, NWT and Whitehorse, Yukon!
Of course, we owe a huge round of applause to all the amazing fundraisers out there!
Your tireless efforts raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for groups across Canada! Throughout the year, we’ve provided fundraising support for varied groups: Soccer Teams in Northwest Territories, Hockey Teams in Yukon, Western Nursing School Grad Classes in Newfoundland, Canadian Mental Health Association in Alberta. Elementary, Middle, and High schools all across Canada. We also saw a huge variety of Groups and Clubs this year. Animal Rescues, Music Groups, Band Groups, Dance Clubs, Soccer, Hockey, Basketball Teams, Air Cadets, and the Navy League of Canada!
What led the charge in terms of fundraisers this year?
While our crowd-favourite Cookie Dough fundraiser still held strong with Muffins closely behind, we also saw an increase in customers adding coffee and tea products to their fundraisers this year! In the spring we ran a successful campaign for Mothers Day spring planters that brightened up houses all around Alberta. We also saw more schools than ever before take part in our Fall Harvest Veggie Bundle fundraiser, including schools from Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, Cochrane and Canmore. As part of our Giving Back Food Bank Option, participating schools made over 5000 food bank donations and donated more than 5000 lbs. of veggies to various food banks! This reminds us of the deeper value of volunteering that impacts your health and happiness: volunteering connects you to others, volunteering is good for your mind and body, volunteering can advance your career, and brings fun and fulfillment to your life!
This year we announced 3 big changes at Indeygo:

Good Things in Good Pouches Indeygo is moving to improved packaging that has less impact. That’s right, we’re migrating away from the traditional Indeygo cookie tub to sleek and lower impact pouches that use way less plastic yet remain food safe. The tubs served fundraisers well for decades being easy to handle and very reusable. However newer lighter and lower profile pouches consume less energy to produce and take less shipping volume compared to the traditional weighty and round tubs. And here, we get to grumble a little: if only Canada had a better system for cleanly disposing of end-of-life pouches we’d be way more happy. Needless to say we’re working on that as we strive to be more circular and sustainable yet it’s harder than it looks when the waste system prevents the best outcome. The other good news, pouches take less room in your freezer, so fitting that extra one in for treats is even easier!
As we switch gears into holiday-mode, we want to leave you with a few parting thanks for the end of this year.
Indeygo would not exist without the incredible hard work of parents, volunteers, and group organizers all around the country. Our goal is always to bring a little fun to fundraising by providing access Canadian-made products and making it easy to reach your fundraising goal. We want you to succeed and our team is here to help you every step of the way!
Indeygo is also committed to giving back!
Every year we are committed to supporting community groups by donating 1% of our sales to non-profit organizations that we care about. Through this commitment, over the years we’ve proudly donated over $100,000 to a variety of non-profit organizations such as environmental groups, women’s and children’s charities, and animal rescue organizations.
If you’re looking for fundraising help, we’re ready when you are.
Once the holidays are over and everyday life gets back into full swing, keep us in mind when that first fundraiser of 2024 comes up! Our team can’t wait to hear from you, refreshed and ready to tackle your next fundraising goal!
