Fundraising Tips and Tricks

Our team at Indeygo has been busy all year helping groups fundraise for their sports teams, school groups, local food banks, and more! We've supported groups from coast to coast—from Newfoundland to BC, and even up in the Yukon!

For many clubs, groups, and organizations, fundraising is a crucial aspect of their financial reality. Whether you're a sports team needing to cover registration fees, a music club seeking funding for camp, or a non-profit aiming to support important community work, fundraising is an essential effort that, when done right, can be an incredibly effective way to secure the necessary funds.

The transition from summer to fall often feels like the world slows down, and as our families settle into a new school year of fundraising routine, October becomes the perfect time for reflection, gratitude, and giving back.

September is an exciting time for everyone—parents return to routine, and kids head back to school! With backpacks full of new supplies and packed lunches, kids reunite with classmates and dive into their favourite team sports, after-school clubs, or other extracurricular activities. However, this also brings a significant amount of organization and fundraising opportunities for parents, teachers, and PTA members—where we can step in to help!

An essential part of our role as busy parents is fundraising for our kids' activities, whether it's a soccer team, gymnastics club, or an after-school program.

Farmers' markets in Alberta are a popular agri-tourism attraction, offering a relaxed shopping experience. Alberta Agriculture and Forestry supports these markets through the Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market Program, providing market managers and vendors with the necessary information to ensure their success and maintain a safe environment for visitors. 

Conservation cropping is a great example of how agriculture can adapt to be more environmentally friendly. By minimizing soil disturbance, farmers help reduce CO2 emissions and improve soil health. It’s impressive to see how innovation in farming techniques can contribute to sustainability.
